FEMA recommends donating cash to trusted organizations on the ground for the most effective aid. National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster can provide a list of reputable organizations, while Charity Navigator offers ratings for charities actively assisting those impacted by the hurricane.
The widespread destruction and loss of life caused by Hurricane Helene highlight the urgent need for support and donations to help communities recover and rebuild in the aftermath of this devastating natural disaster.
