A 15-year-old teenager has been charged with the murders of his parents and three siblings, as well as attempted murder of another sibling who survived a shooting at their Washington state home. The teen, whose identity has not been revealed because he is a minor, has been charged with five counts of aggravated murder in the first degree and one count of attempted murder in the first degree. The incident took place at their home in Fall City which resulted in the death of five family members and one child surviving. The teenager has no prior criminal history and enjoys activities like mountain biking and fishing according to his attorneys. He has been held in a juvenile detention facility since the day of the shooting. The victims were identified as Mark and Sarah Humiston, who homeschooled their children and were well-known in the community. The surviving sibling, an 11-year-old girl, has been discharged from the hospital after the attack. The company where Mark Humiston worked as an electrical engineer expressed sadness over the loss of their colleague and his family. The teenager waived his right to appear in court and was ordered to have no contact with the surviving sibling. The incident has left the community shocked and grieving for the lives lost in this tragic event.
