Maverik to Revamp Kum & Go Stores in Oklahoma

Maverik is expanding its rebranding efforts to include Kum & Go convenience stores in Oklahoma, a state not initially mentioned in their plans. The Salt Lake City-based chain had originally announced plans to rebrand Kum & Go stores in Colorado, Idaho, Utah, and Wyoming starting in January 2024. However, a recent post on Reddit revealed that all Oklahoma Kum & Go locations will soon reopen as Maverik.

The rebranding process will involve the closure and reopening of eight locations in Oklahoma throughout October. Maverik aims to make the transition as seamless as possible, with minimal downtime for customers. Additional locations in Tulsa, Jenks, Owasso, and Claremore are also expected to be rebranded by 2025.

Maverik, which acquired the Kum & Go c-store chain in 2023, operates over 500 Maverik-branded locations in several states. Meanwhile, Kum & Go has around 400 locations in 12 states. With the rebranding of Kum & Go stores to the Maverik brand, the company is looking to provide a consistent experience for customers across all locations.

As the rebranding efforts continue, Maverik is focused on delivering convenience and adventure to customers in Oklahoma and beyond. Stay tuned for more updates on the transition of Kum & Go stores to the Maverik brand.
