Press Release: Family Seeks Answers in 18-Year-Old Disappearance of Tina Pitts
Tulsa, Okla. — Nearly two decades after the mysterious disappearance of Tina Pitts, her family remains desperate for answers. Tina vanished in November 2006, leaving behind three children and a cloud of uncertainty. Her sister, Angie Pitts, has dedicated her life to uncovering the truth surrounding Tina’s case.
“Something wasn’t right. After just two days, no one could locate her, and we contacted the authorities,” Angie recounted, emphasizing her belief that foul play was involved. Tina’s last known companion was her boyfriend, who Angie suspects may have crucial information about her disappearance.
Angie highlights several suspicious aspects surrounding the boyfriend’s actions, such as his decision to leave the area and not assist in the search for Tina. Additionally, there were reports of blood found in his truck. According to him, he took Tina to the hospital for treatment of a cut on her foot—a claim Angie vehemently disputes.
Despite Angie’s relentless pursuit for justice, Tulsa police have reported a lack of sufficient evidence to press charges against the boyfriend, leaving the family feeling frustrated and voicing their concerns over the case’s stagnation.
“God brought her into this world, and only God should take her. We miss her every day. She deserves justice, and I won’t stop fighting for her,” said Angie, who is now approaching her 68th birthday.
The Pitts family calls on the community for support and assistance. Anyone with information about Tina Pitts’ disappearance is urged to contact the Tulsa Police Department to help bring closure to this long-standing mystery.
