The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has unveiled a new system for protecting intellectual property and patenting military technologies, as announced by Minister Rustem Umerov. The initiative aims to ensure that innovations are safeguarded by patents and create clear collaboration rules with Ukrainian and international partners. The new system provides assurance to inventors, instills confidence in partners, and supports the development of the defense sector. An example of this approach is the patent for the Vitryak-M FPV drone detector, which assists the Armed Forces of Ukraine in detecting Russian drones. This patent protection signifies that Ukraine is prepared for responsible cooperation, with technologies being protected and supported for development and security. Umerov highlighted that this system establishes a new defense culture where every breakthrough brings them closer to victory. The Ministry of Defense has received its first patent for the Vitryak M technology, showcasing their commitment to innovation and collaboration in the defense sector.
