Fezz Audio has introduced the new Equinox Vacuum Tube DAC, priced at $2,995, making it the most affordable D/A converter with the Lampizator logo. Designed by Ćukasz Fikus, the Equinox features the PCM1794 chipsets and a single 12AU7 vacuum tube. The Prestige model, priced at $3,995, includes two 12AU7 tubes and balanced audio outputs.
Equinox offers multiple digital signal inputs and RCA outputs, allowing users to customize the sound by swapping in different tubes. The collaboration with Lampizator ensures a high-quality, analog sound that appeals to audiophiles. Despite the availability of more affordable DACs like the iFi ZEN Blue3 and ZENDAC 3, high-priced models like the MSB Cascade and Holo Audio Spring3 KTE continue to attract enthusiasts.
Fezz Audio has established itself in the Polish high-end audio market and is gaining popularity in North America. The Equinox DACs are available in black ice and sunlight finishes in the U.S. for audiophiles looking for a bespoke, high-quality sound experience. Interested buyers can find these DACs at select dealers.
