Alabama football will face Oklahoma in their seventh SEC matchup of the season with an updated injury report. The Southeastern Conference recently implemented a policy requiring injury reports for football, basketball, and baseball ahead of conference games. Players are listed as “probable,” “questionable,” “doubtful,” or “out” initially, with further designations like “available,” “game time decision,” or “out” on game day.
Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer announced that defensive back Keon Sabb would be out for the rest of the season due to a foot injury suffered against Tennessee. Sabb, who had surgery, is expected to return next year. This was the only injury discussed during the press conference. Sabb joins linebacker Que Robinson and wide receiver Cole Adams as players whose seasons have ended early due to injury.
Bray Hubbard has filled in for Sabb, recording 33 tackles and interceptions in his first two games as a starter. The injury report will be updated leading up to game time as Alabama faces Oklahoma on Saturday at Gaylord Family Memorial Stadium. Fans can catch the action at 6:30 p.m. CT on ABC/ESPN+. Stay tuned for more updates on player availability and injuries as game day approaches.
