Tulsa Landmark Transformed into Holiday Spectacle by Local Family
TULSA, OK – The festive spirit is alive and well in Tulsa, as the iconic Admiral Twin Drive-in has been adorned with a dazzling new animated drive-thru light display, thanks to the Arroyo family, renowned for their Christmas passion. Michael and Courtney Arroyo, known for their spectacular home displays, have taken their holiday enthusiasm on the road this year, creating Jolly Lane Lights.
“We’re estimating close to one million lights,” said Michael Arroyo, highlighting the intricacies of the display. The drive-through experience spans over a mile, showcasing hundreds of shapes and figures designed with innovative pixel lights that can change colors to synchronize with music. “It really creates an endless opportunity for a visual and auditory show,” he explained.
The Arroyos dedicated countless hours over the spring and summer to bringing this holiday vision to life. The display features 14-foot candy canes, 20-foot mega trees, and scenes including tributes to soldiers and Santa Claus. One of Courtney’s favorite elements is a decorative section featuring “Merry Christmas” and “Feliz Navidad” accompanied by candles and poinsettias.
Visitors can experience the wonder of Jolly Lane Lights for a $20 carload ticket, and a portion of the proceeds—$1 per ticket—will support local nonprofits including John 3:16 Mission, The Demand Project, and A Soldier’s Wish. In addition, the Arroyos are organizing food drives and Military Appreciation Nights, underscoring their commitment to giving back.
“With this, we aim to start a new family tradition in the Tulsa area,” Michael expressed. The drive-through experience lasts about 20-30 minutes, making it an ideal outing for families this holiday season. For more information on hours and tickets, visit jollylanelights.com.
