Analyzing the Cowboys’ top high school recruits

Oklahoma State is looking to bounce back from a disappointing season under head coach Mike Gundy by recruiting top talent for the 2025 season. After a 3-7 record and missing out on bowl eligibility for the first time in almost two decades, the Cowboys have signed a diverse group of players to strengthen their roster.

Among the standout recruits are 4-star linebacker Carl’veon Young from Oklahoma City, 3-star offensive tackle Jaylan Beckley from Addison, and 3-star edge rusher Chandavian Bradley from Hutchinson, Kansas. The class also includes players from Texas, Utah, Alabama, and other states.

The breakdown of the recruiting class includes 9 players from Texas, 4 from Oklahoma, and 3 from Utah, among others. The class features a variety of positions, with 5 wide receivers, 3 offensive linemen, and multiple defensive backs and lineman.

Despite not having any top 100 national recruits, the Cowboys have a strong foundation for the future with this incoming class. Fans can expect to see these talented players make an impact on the field as they help Oklahoma State work towards a successful season in 2025.
