The Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office is working on a proposed Senate Bill that would allow Sheriff Tommie Johnson to deputize additional law officers to provide world-class security at venues like OKC Riversport and Devon Park.

However, approval from the Los Angeles City Council is still pending for Oklahoma City to officially host the events. Mayor David Holt has not set a timeline for when this vote will take place.
