Amid severe winter weather, a group of Jeep enthusiasts known as Jeepers Anonymous stepped up to help first responders and healthcare workers get to work safely. The group spent the day transporting doctors, nurses, and other essential workers through the snowy conditions, ensuring they could reach their destinations without any issues.
Bobby Edland, a volunteer driver with Jeepers Anonymous, quickly prepared for the storm by adding sandbags to his Jeep for extra weight. He began picking up passengers early in the morning, including healthcare workers who needed to get to their shifts. For Edland, being able to help others during challenging weather conditions was a rewarding experience.
Throughout the day, Edland picked up six people in need of transportation, and other members of Jeepers Anonymous planned to continue assisting into the night. The rides provided by the group were described as invaluable by those they helped, with healthcare worker Cornette Sinclair expressing gratitude for the support.
