Rudy Giuliani has fully satisfied a judgment against him in a defamation case brought by two former Georgia election workers, Ruby Freeman and her daughter, Wandrea “Shaye” Moss. Giuliani falsely accused them of election fraud in the aftermath of the 2020 presidential contest. The judgment, originally $148 million, was reduced to $146 million by a judge after a trial in December 2023. Interest and attorneys fees were added to the final amount. The settlement agreement was reached in January, and the judgment was satisfied on Friday according to a federal court filing. Giuliani’s defamation of the election workers was a result of his involvement in disputing the results of the 2020 presidential election.
