Hunter Watkins pitched five strong innings to earn the win, while Sean Youngerman got his first save of the season.
Mississippi State took an early lead with a solo home run, but Oklahoma State quickly responded to tie the game in the first inning. The Cowboys then broke the game open in the third inning, scoring five runs to take a commanding lead. Schubart hit a three-run homer in the sixth to extend their advantage.
