Highly sought-after four-star quarterback Jaden O’Neal recently visited the Georgia Bulldogs during their spring practice. Despite being committed to the Oklahoma Sooners, O’Neal is feeling pressure from Georgia, who is considered their biggest competitor. Along with Georgia and Oklahoma, Florida State, Auburn, and Arizona are also actively pursuing O’Neal.
At 6-foot-3 and 200 pounds, O’Neal has shown significant improvement in accuracy, completing over 71% of his passes for 1,798 yards and 16 touchdowns in eight games at Mustang High. He has continued to impress after a strong sophomore season at Newport Harbor, where he threw for 2,475 yards and 27 touchdowns with a 61% completion rate.
Georgia is currently in the race to secure a quarterback for their class of 2026, with O’Neal being a highly ranked option at No. 11 per 247Sports. Head coach Kirby Smart and his staff are also pursuing other top quarterbacks like Jared Curtis, Dia Bell, and Landon Duckworth.
Although the Bulldogs do not yet have a commitment from a quarterback recruit for the upcoming season, they are expected to sign at least one. O’Neal’s visit to Georgia has sparked speculation about his potential future with the team, as he considers his options while remaining committed to Oklahoma. Stay tuned for updates as O’Neal weighs his choices in the competitive world of college football recruiting.
