Opera lovers in the Greenfield area are in for a treat with the upcoming performance of Rossini’s “Cinderella” by OPERA Iowa, Des Moines Metro Opera’s educational troupe. The performance will take place on April 5 at the Warren Cultural Center at 7 p.m. This production, sung in English, promises to be a delightful experience for all attendees.
The OPERA Iowa Educational Touring Troupe has been bringing the magic of opera to audiences for nearly four decades. Having performed in ten states across the region, as well as internationally in Japan and China, the troupe has reached over one million students and adults. This performance is a part of the Education Division program of Des Moines Metro Opera, located in Indianola.
Tickets for the event are priced at $20 for adults, with free admission for students (high school and younger). Those interested in attending can order tickets through the Warren Cultural Center’s website. This performance is part of the center’s “All Iowa Series” for the 2024-25 season.
