Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT) at Penn State University Libraries is seeking self-nominations for the Teaching and Learning Technologies Faculty Advisory Committee for 2025-27. This committee plays a crucial role in integrating technology into teaching and learning at Penn State, providing guidance, recommending focus areas, and advocating for innovation.
Members of the committee engage with faculty leaders, provide guidance on technology-related decisions, recommend focus areas, and advocate for teaching, learning, technology, and innovation. They meet regularly and are expected to actively participate, communicate with constituents, and exchange feedback with other members.
Amy Kuntz, TLT learning innovation strategic initiatives coordinator, highlighted the importance of faculty insights in shaping educational innovation and impacting teaching practices across the university. Faculty passionate about technology in teaching and interested in exploring new pedagogical approaches are encouraged to apply.
Faculty can self-nominate by emailing Amy Kuntz at aer13@psu.edu by April 8. Current members and TLT representatives will select new members by early May, with appointed faculty serving staggered two-year terms. By ensuring a wide range of perspectives are represented on the committee, efforts to enhance student experiences through collaboration and innovative thinking will be advanced.
