OKC for Soccer, the organization working to bring professional soccer back to the Oklahoma City metro, has announced the top five choices for the new team name. After receiving thousands of submissions from fans, the organization has narrowed down the list to the following options: OKC Bison FC, OKC Lightning FC, OKC Thunderbird FC, OKC United, and OKC Wind FC.
Fans who submitted names that were not selected still have the opportunity to have a say in the final name selection by participating in an open survey until March 24. To cast your vote for the new team name, visit the OKC for Soccer voting page.
