Shockers lose midweek game against #21 Oklahoma State


Wichita State suffered a 10-2 loss to No. 21/22 Oklahoma State in a five-inning game on Tuesday night. Despite a strong start with a two-run double by Jodie Epperson in the first inning, the Shockers struggled to produce hits throughout the game. Gabby Scott and Brookelyn Livanec also managed singles for Wichita State. Oklahoma State rallied back with runs in the first, second, third, fourth, and fifth innings to secure the win.

The Shockers, now 21-20-1 overall and 9-8-1 in conference play, will look to bounce back in a three-game series against Tulsa on April 17-19. The loss against Oklahoma State serves as a learning experience for Wichita State as they strive to improve their performance going forward.
